Have done some "sidework" on my chrono, the Magnetospeed Sporter.
This chrono is for barrel mount straight on the barrel, but not together with a suppressor.
For suppressors, the other model of Magnetospeed is the normal use.
I found a video on Youtube where a guy reworked the bajonett of the chono so it could fit the suppressor.
I dit the same.
I measured how much to cut off and went to work.

The bajonett was mounted on a alloy rail at the front and a Ebay picatinny QD mount at the back that clamped on to the forend of the Bravo.

This was "prototype 1".
It worked but was little to flexible so I used another alloy rail to make it more rigid.

This is "prototype 2" and the current setup. The nice on this rail is that the cable from the bajonett i fitted inside the rail.
The style of bipods that I use also helps so that the rail to the bajonett can be mounted on the forend and pass under the bipod.
This setup worked better but when I added the Cole-Tac suppressor cover, the bajonett came too far from the bullet so it couldn't get any reading.
I cut out about 7mm more of the bajonett and now it works perfect!

The gain in this setup is that I can use the chrono and have no affect on the POI. When the Magnetospeed is attached to the barrel, it changes my POI. So previous, I needed to do one thing at the range. Shooting with the chrono or shooting for groups on the target. Now I can do both. Must admit that I am very happy with the result of this rework an the look of it.
