We included pages of shooter's notes in the back of the Grendel Handbooks for record-keeping.
Each volume has 5 pages of reloader's notebook format pages where you can record your rifle and load data.
As you pass these materials down to the younger generation (or your older self who doesn't remember writing them), all that data is kept in a clear, concise location with the obvious labeling of the Handbooks themselves.

I will also of course put the labels on my ammo boxes that come with the boxes when you buy them, or bullets like Lapua provides.
I list the powder, bullet, case, primer, charge weight, COL, times fired for brass usually.
