What this setup seems to work well and folks are hanging this thermal off the front of some other daylight optics, I am hesitant to hang a scope off of the front of another scope if it isn't sufficiently sturdy. I am hoping they will come out with a rail supported version. I had seen a pic at one point, but haven't seen the product.
Here is another video from last night. I have had the clip-on off the rifle and put back on for each hunt and verified the zero before hunting and it has been on zero each time, I am happy to report. I trust clip-ons to work, but not without verification. The only problem was that I somehow screwed up the switch for the recorder unit and didn't get a lot of video. I should have had another hog kill and 4 skunk kills along with watching some cattle, armadillos, raccoons, and a bird that flew through at one point, but none of that got recorded. :mad:
