The most confirmed kills that any American Sniper is willing to write books about. It wouldn't surprise me if there are many more from USASOC and JSOC who simply will stay silent about it for the next 25 years, especially thinking about Fallujah, Ramadi, and a few other mudholes in CENTCOM.
If you recall the Grenada Invasion, Hollywood approached certain units within the Army who had actually rescued US hostages at the Medical University, including guys from 75th Ranger Regiment. They were flatly turned down.
As a result, they turned to another source, and made the movie, Heartbreak Ridge with Clint Eastwood. Many of the scenes in that movie are composites of action executed by Rangers and SEALs, with regards to the rescue of US citizens from True Blue Campus, and the use of a credit card and land line to phone up a parent unit in the States to arrange for Close Air Support from an AC-130.
