a5blaster - Why on goods green earth would someone who doesn't reload/handload buy this tool to measure the cartridge length to ojive?
Have you ever sold a rifle? Lets say you don't reload and have one that is shooting 2.7 in groups at 200 yds. If you get the same results that I got with the sinclare tool you now have a gun shooting about 1.9 inch groups at 200 yds. Do you think the gun is worth more $ now? 1.9 inch group is sub MOA.
Take some guy that has a hunting rifle that shoots 2 inch groups at 100 yds. He wants to go on a hunt where his shot will be at 300 yds not the 100 yds where he hunts now. Would you be happy shooting a 6 inch group at that range or would a 4.2 inch group make you feel more confident?
