From my experience, the more you spend on a barrel ,the higher percentage you have of it being accurate.So if you spend around $500+ on a custom barrel ,you?re pretty much guaranteed sub moa accuracy. Does not mean you can?t get sub moa accuracy out of a group buy barrel. Just not guaranteed.In the luck of the draw.And with the lower the quality barrel,it might take you 200 - 300 rounds to break it in.With a custom rifle it will shoot consistently out of the box.
And as many have pointed out to me in the past ,you need to add the price of the ammo it cost you to break in the barrel to the final cost. And you will realize that in the long run a quality custom barrel line up costing you less. Also quality barrels shoot well twice as long too.
