Every barrel is unique and rack grade barrels are luck of the draw on their accuracy. The more expensive barrels generally will shoot a wider variety of ammo well and generally don’t need as much or any break in. I have a 12 inch PSA Nitride CMV 6.5 Grendel pistol and I find it harder to shoot accurately compared to my other 6.5 Grendel AR-15’s.
The Group Buy barrels get good reviews whether the original Faxon group buy barrels or the current Green Mountain barrels. Honestly if I can get 1-2 MOA accuracy with a rack grade barrel I feel lucky. I don’t cherry pick groups and generally base accuracy on five or ten shot groups.
If you really want to be sure your getting an accurate barrel I would look at Lilja, Shilen, Wilson Combat, Criterion or other higher quality barrels.
