Yes, I'm worried about that. It seems the more I learn about firearms, the list of things "I must have" keeps getting bigger. I remember when I was quite satisfied with a $30 Tasco scope on my Remington 770 shooting sub FOOT MOA at 100 yards with ammo I had no clue about except that it was safe to shoot in my .243 rifle. In some ways, those were the good old days. But I do really enjoy this hobby and don't plan on quitting any time soon.
BTW, that Remington 770 is my most accurate rifle shooting excellent groups and it still has a Tasco scope - well, the scope is made by the same folks that make the Tasco, SWFA (yes, the 10X SWFA Super Sniper). I only did a trigger job (polished trigger), free floated and epoxy bedded (that made all the difference!). I have been able to hit 3" group at 350+ yards on several occasions (with the right conditions) with factory ammo. I love that rifle.
