I just downloaded the revised (substituted) bill from the House Public Safety comm.
On first read it does appear that current owners might be, like, unmentioned, so possession may be ok --- not purchase however. And no mention in this text of registering it or getting a permit.
It does ban "high-cap" mags which is defined as a removable mag of over 12 rounds. If you have some of those you can surrender them or move them out of state to some other legal place.
AR's seem to be verboten to "import, sell, transfer, manufacture, or purchase..." but possession is left out. Apparently.
And suppressors seem to be likewise: unlawful to "import, sell, transfer, manufacture, or purchase a silencer..."
Mags over 12 rounds, have the "possession" forbiddenness included.
Children under 18 can't possess or use any, pretty much, except under some parental, on own property, etc allowances.
