Let's let the OP make is own mind up about what he buys his grandchildren. And stop trying to convince him he should buy what you like in a bolt action rifle.

I'm not trying to convince the OP of anything, just stating an opinion. Aside from slightly more recoil, the Creedmoor looks like a more versatile option for a 6.5 boltie. If you're already reloading for the Grendel, then sure, get a Grendel boltie. If you're looking for a higher potential option in a bolt action, I'd buy a Creedmoor.
