There a couple different adjustable gas blocks used by PSA. There has been confusion on which screw is the set screw and which screw is the lock screw. You might post pictures of the Adjustable Gas Block. Id experiment with the screws off the range so I wouldnt loose the screws. From post Ive read the side screw many times reduces the gas even though the screw on the muzzle end is larger and appears to be the adjustment screw.
The one PSA upper I had used the larger front screw for adjustment and the smaller side screw was the lock screw. It is entirely possible the gas block is not centered over the gas port and that usually causes insufficient gas.
