I own high quality builds and in fact built an M5 Aero Precision 6.5 Creedmore myself. Cost as much as buying a complete Large Frame AR platform but I chose the parts I wanted instead of someone else choosing for me.
There is a quicker way to test without using a gunsmith first, take a Hornady Factory 123gr round, chamber it and try ejecting it without shooting it. On three BCA uppers I got the bullet gets stuck, you need to uses a tool to force the chamber open, be careful sometime the bullets stay lodged in the barrel and gunpowder everywhere. Just spend $50-$100 more for a PSA upper.
