Shot Show 2020: Where is the Grendel?

A small company, but Fort Scott Munitions showed their new 6.5 Grendel ammo prominently in a whole corner of their booth with a dedicated video.

Actually, no, Fort Scott isn't new. They have been around and selling bullets and ammo since prior to January 15, 2017. So it has been around for a while.

They apparently don't really have that great of a hunting round as you intimate. They rely on their bullet doing nothing more than tumbling because the base is heavier than the point and the bullet is easily upset when it hits a different medium. Tumbling is not a good way to cause the tissue damage most hunters want. Call it what it is....non-expanding ball ammo. Who really wants to hunt with that?

So it is not a hunting round then. Why would a target round need to tumble?

I might pay over a $1.00 per for Black Hills ammo, but I can?t think of any other I would be willing to for. Come on Black Hills get in the Grendel game again.
