Agree, I can't imagine the expensive boutique 6.5 Grendel rounds such as Fort Scott and Underwood Ammo are going to outsell Hornady and Federal and PPU and now, Remington. Not to mention Wolf 6.5 Grendel steel-case.
Of the alternative calibers in the AR, 6.5 Grendel is gonna battle it out with .300 Blackout for supremacy. I suspect .300 BLK will gain the edge if it gets cheap steel-case ammo. But that doesn't mean 65G will fade, on the contrary, 65G will always be a strong second and might even surpass .300 BLK after people realize its limitations. Grendel has too much going for it -- near-.308 Winchester ballistics in a much-smaller case and in the AR15 platform. 224 Valkyrie won't really go any where. 6.8 SPC will slowly fade.
Barnes, for example, released their 6.5 Grendel boxed ammuntion. Nothing, for example, in 6.8 SPC, that I'm aware of.
