The biggest advantage I see from suppressors is that you eliminate most of the muzzle blast.
This helps you focus more on the sight picture without the obnoxious distraction of concussion.
It really helps ease new shooters into centerfire rifles after learning on rimfire.
Rimfire .22 CBs are excellent training tools as well for the same reason, as there is no sound other than the firing pin hitting the rim of the case.
Suppressed is really fun on sub guns, as long as someone else cleans them.
