My Son and Grandson
Life long resident of Bayou La Batre, Al. For the past three years I?ve hunted in Pickens county Al, my son and I lease just under 500acres. It?s been a good year I?ve tagged three 8 pts weighing 200, 120, and 170. A 100lb doe and got a Grandson a 5pt. Weighing 165. My freezer will be full when I get these last two home.
To top off the season I helped my son get his youngest son his first buck 7pt 115lbs yesterday evening out of the woods. He?s 6 yrs old and made 80 plus yds shot across a food plot. I believe we have another life long hunter and firearms enthusiast in the making. He shot him low though the shoulders with a savage 243 the made it about 30yds into thick young pines and briars.
