I think power wise I would be looking at a 3-12 because I also plan on taking close shots.
At those ranges I would find me a 1-6 or 1-8 powered scope.
I have the gen2 pst 1-6 scope on my 12.5 and 16 inch.
Good and low powered for up close and plenty of scope too easly hit steel out to 600 yards.
