Finally have an update:
It would take far more work than I want to exert for this project to be perfected. Major problem is that when a round is stripped from the rotary magazine, a second round gets stripped by a notch on the bolt farther back just as the first round is coming out of the magazine.
A post by Grayfox correctly outlines that the current RAP bolt will not support feeding from the old rotary mags without modification of the bolt. That, I am NOT going to do.
"The RAP (using the AR mag) in this latest iteration has a change to its bolt, a cut-out in the lower part to allow a double stack feed to work. The earlier bolts were shaped on the bottom to feed from a single stack, aka the rotary mags." - Grayfox
