Got it today. UPS out here has had some major problems so it is late, but here.
I had wanted the OD stock but my dealer said all they had to ship was black so I took that. But when it came out of the box it WAS the OD model.
Started the break-in today, after installing Burris illuminated 1.5-6x42 FourX ?scope in Burris ?tactical? rings. Surprised to find it weighs 8.18# unloaded and w/o the magazine. Doesn?t feel that heavy.
Heavy barrel is set into stock slightly off-center so that it is touching on the left front. I?ll see if removing and reinstalling the stock will correct this w/o opening up that side a bit.
Haven?t measured the trigger but seems quite good. No creep and very crisp. I?ll be surprised if it goes a full 3#.
Windy and cold so only did 5 shots today, cleaning between each. Warmer tomorrow so I may get further. I?m not rushing things.
