To be honest I don't trust the general public either. Always someone who stuffs it up for the rest of us. Laser pointers above 1mw are now import-banned where I live - Thanks to idiots shining them at aircraft.
You can access LEP flashlights, it's just the Chinese marketing department trying to hype it up. They'll take anyone's money. Can't see the military being too interested in this, unless it's for intimidating people or as a close range pointer. PEQ15's already do this.
Battery Junction has W10's in stock however I understand Acebeam have stopped making the larger W30's for some reason (still available if you look around).
