So I love my CZ 527 and only have one BUT!!! Can't CZ make a smoother bolt action? Getting tired of having to push the bolt back into battery from the rear and being able to use the bolt handle. The bolt is far from smooth and constantly sticks when operating the bolt. Am I the only one having this problem?

I have 3 CZ rifles. One a big 550 Safari American , two of the 527's. My first 527 is a .22hornet supposed to be a fancier model, but wood is rather plain dark walnut, but the bolt is jeweled. The last a 527 American in 6.5 Grendel. Bolts on all were sticky. I took some small hard Arkansas or ceramic files and broke the sharp edges on the back of the lugs and anywere an edge could be a scraping edge as it cycles back through the action. I then coated it with some flitz and cycled and cycled , probably close to a couple of hours each. This did wonders in smoothing the action. As I see things the problem is the lack on an antibinding lug. My old Winchester M70 and my Swedish mausers have such a lug, 1/3-1/2 of the way back on the bolt body, and designed so it contacts the bottom of the left lug race, so that you cannot try to rotate the bolt too far, nor jam it to the left side as easily so as to cause binding. I suspect the lack of such a feature is simply a cost cutting measure eliminating some machining steps.
