No way will Hornady brass out-last Lapua. Do you think the Creedmoor will give longer barrel life than .260 Rem based on the shoulder angle torching the .260 more? I wonder how Ackleying the .260 Rem would help with that. What projected barrel lives are we talking about, anyway? I think barrel steel quality will be a big factor in barrel life more than the chambering between the two. Some guys have gotten 4600 rounds out of the .260 Rem for accuracy. I think we're looking at 3500-5000 rounds of accuracy life, depending on steel quality and how the gun is run with regard to hotter loads.
