Blood trails

Timely subject. I shot a doe last Monday that ran and we didn't find. Frustrating to say the least. I put the crosshairs right in the middle of the chest and let one fly. I know I hit her by the way she ran (running on three legs) but found zero blood. I would have to agree with the previous posts, I hit her to high. Learn as you go.
