Your shooting them to high if your not getting a blood trail. Blood on the ground happens best if your entrance and exit is in the lower section of the vitals.
The very bottom of the heart with a clean pass through is your best bet for a blood trail with any rifle round.
Also pigs have very dense, coarse hair and typically can go a good distance before they start to leave any blood sign on the ground.
If you shot the shoulder and she didn't drop you hit the wrong spot for a cns kill. Adjust your point of aim.
