If you are lugging the rifle in and out of the woods,you might opt for a 20” med contour or lighter.If you want to target shoot Benchrest or prone for accuracy,a 24” heavy barrel is what you need.There truly is no one size fits all.I have one for each type of shooting I do.And the scopes match accordingly.
