Well went back opening day of deer season with lots of chores to do like cutting shooting lanes, setting up another feeder, putting up my pop up blind, and watching what deer movement I could. I saw two nice bucks, 4 does and 1 feral hog which I winged because he turned just as I shot. My hunting partner also saw the two bucks and he also saw 30 or so pigs in a big group that he says he never got a good shot at. I know he hates messing with pigs and I don't know if he would have shot at one anyway. He even saw the one I hit limping by his feeder and off the property! Doug was feeling poorly, could hardly help me put up a tent so after giving him the information that our job was to kill every hog we see until the rut starts I cut him some slack. Steve is up next and he is a hog killing machine.
