The newer CZs I think all have the Mod that Calhoun was doing for years giving more bolt clearance. I did my CZ before they were available, 22 inch Obermeyer barrel custom turned so it fit the stock of the 7.62X39 carbine with the stock channel opened up to get rid of the notches for the rear sight while keeping the same 60 inch radius those barrels had. Like Sinclair said pillar and glass bedding is a needed modification to the 527s. the inletting is too generous on material removal IMO. Result is a rifle that cn shoot much better than I cn, even though .3 inh groups are common at 100 yards with reloads.

Yea I hear they changed the angle of the bolt but still hear that it needs more to get enough clearance most scopes we would use for 600 plus yardages.

Will for sure piller and glass bedding it if I keep the factory stock. But I will probably drop it in a b and c stock.
