There were three problems with my set up that caused the failure.
It was way over gassed. .093" midlength gas port.
Poorly manufactured bolt. I had issues with the extractor channel not cut correctly. Probably not heat treated correctly.
Chamber not cut correctly, it had a extremely long throat.
Buy the bolt and barrel from a reputable company with Grendel experience and you will be fine.
My Grendels now have cheap adjustable gas blocks on them.
You didn't have a grendel, you had some kind of mutt barrel.
