After refusing to accept the first RAP Grendel due to severe factory damage (box had no damage, so wasn't during shipping) to the barrel finish which removed a 2.5" length of the matte finish all the way down to bare metal, I finally took possession to a RAP Grendel yesterday afternoon.
I hope to swap out the stocks from the 22-250 American and the RAP Grendel just to see if it will feed from the flush fit rotary mag.
On a side note, the action was a bit rough to begin with and you had to be real snappy with it to feed from the C Products magazine, but after cycling through a few magazines full it feeds much smoother. It never once had any failures to feed when being heavy handed; just could not cycle slow and smooth as it would not push them out of the mag at all that way. Now it seems to feed when cycling slow and fairly smoothly.
Still going to try the stock switch just because I don't really care for the mag sticking out and would rather hunt with a flush fit.
