I guess it depends. Is it just a noise maker i.e. range blaster? Are is the role of the rifle something more important?

If it was mine and it was just a ammo waister, range blaster, noise maker. I would live it alone and just rebarrel it once it's burnt out.

If it's for something more important. I would probably give PSA a chance to replace it. If not I would just buy a better barrel and move on.
