Take a 2? length of aquarium hose or car vacuum hose(1/8?),attatch it on the gastube through the upper. Blowing through it you?ll be able to tell when it?s aligned,then just tighten the screws.Success!

I haven't ever had an issue lining up the gas block, but I was never sure it was right until it was fired. There is always the slight doubt just because I didn't have a simple way to verify.
