Well, I never cut a follower, ( sanded a few lower leg edges smoooth) but the 26 rnder.- cut down to a 16 , is sweet. The 26 rnd. mag. can be difficult in the woods. That's why I chose a mid. capacity mag. Hopefully, if and when D. & H. makes the big announcement,, that they have a - curved 14--17 rnd. unit also. I've heard from a few that the 6.8 is the same. D. & H. already makes a steel 6.8- for , I think it was- $9.99...... Maybe Stan can pop in here, with some more data ?
