You do know there's a huge difference between what a candidate tells his supporters that she/he/it would like to do while running for office, versus what she/he/it can actually do if elected?

Yes I been around long enough to realize that. I also know not to support a candidate that out right says they will sign an executive orders to ban all types of assault weapons...

I don't know of any candidate who has said she/he/it will issue an executive order to ban all types of assault weapons. And in the rather unlikely event such an order were to be issued, it would quickly be overturned by the courts.

As I stated governments do control their people in one way or another...

Of course. After all, the purpose of government is to control the people.
