Maybe not democide but I due believe as already proven the US Government will engage in control of its populace. Such as in keeping food prices at a high set price even going as far a destroying crops, cattle, hogs and milk. This actually happened during the depression creating a food shortage for the a lot of the nation. No question at all of how hungry some of the US population was at this time or the malnutrition of adults and children of the period.

I agree hypocrisy is rampant especially in today?s elected officials! New York?s Mayor just stated last night that his protection detail should be able to have assault weapons due to him being an elected official. But the private citizen should not have the same right. Hypocrisy at its finest.
Your premise is faulty. The issue is not a choice between freedom versus a repressive government.
It's a choice between freedom versus prohibitions on private ownership of some types of firearms.
I take the words of the Candidates Running for President 2020 to heart some are for forced buy back some for outright confiscation. I think everyone?s choice is clear in the November 2020 elections. I think we would all like to keep our AR?s and other semi auto firearms.
The rhetoric I?m hearing not only pertains to the confiscation of firearms. It ranges in form of control of how we will think, speak, live, worship, work, and eat all of which is now on the table of discussion.
