222 has the same bolt face as a .223. I would imagine it takes about as much effort to convert 222 to 6.5 grendel, as it does converting .223 rifles to 6.5 grendel. New barrel, new bolt, and new magazine. 222 is a little shorter than 223, so the magazine well may or may not be the right size.
