222 Rem to 6.5 Grendel

Pretty sure the mag will be the biggest issue but a good smith could fix that in one way or another I think. The original mag will be too narrow for the Grendel though. 788s use single straight stack mags and they are sized pretty tight for fit with the diameter of the case. I have a 788 in 223 that i am toying with the idea of making it into a 6,5mm TCu or 7mm TCU. The latter would make more sense for me as I have 7mm TCU dies.

I have an 308 carbine i bought new in 1981. My very first gun.

I used to have one in 223 and 7mm-08. My brother had one in 243.

Hmm... have to see how the Grendel fits in the 308 mags
