I could maybe see getting down there in cooler weather...
So... the flashlite thingy, you what -- clip on a headlamp? (LOL!!)
I've got one of the red/green lights, so that could work.
Early morn/late afternoon would be better for me.
But, who knows, flexible somewhat.
2 days' drive down there, and then same on back.

Elusive wildlife makes some great weapon hunting lights. And they have a few mounting options. It's best to keep your light forward of your sight and face when trying to shoot a moving animal in the dark.

I use their feeder lights for night hog hunting. Good company and good cs as well.
