The feds tried to give Weaver and friend the death sentence. Ironic how no government person was ever convicted after two innocent people were murdered by them.Meh. The Founders did not intend for State militias to be used to assist lawbreakers like Bundy, and prevent federal agents from performing their assigned duties.
Actually, the Founders' intent was just the opposite, as shown by George Washington's use of the militia against Pennsylvania farmers.
