2nd Amendment "rules" should apply to the 14th Amendment

We have already given up our sovereignty along time ago. We need permission to do just about anything today. In reality, no one owns any property if a property tax is law. Personal property was the corner stone of our freedom, yet we gave that up with out a whimper. The right is already folding on the 2ndA.

Your comments have been stuck in the back of my mind. After further contemplation, I'm now thinking maybe I was wrong. Since the Second Amendment became obsolete and irrelevant when the National Guard superseded the State militia system, perhaps there is no reason to oppose your idea for mandatory training as a prerequisite to gun ownership, or "red flag" laws and extended background checks.
