Providing an infrastructure for proper training and education for these new shooters is a better alternative than doing nothing or letting first shooter video games be their only choice of firearm instruction.
If the government is mandating it as a condition of ownership? I don't see how you don't see that as giving up a RIGHT? We can all agree on firearm safety being important. Getting the government is involved is never a good idea. Something something Ben Franklin.....
Maybe the NRA could do this for us....:p
