Az, your post doesn't bother me in the least. I'd put it in the same category as "Red Flag Laws". These are just the next steps for the reactionary feelings-enhanced leftist will use to further chip away at our freedom.
The logic is that because there are crazy people, we must ban things crazy people might use to commit acts of violence. By that logic, we should ban oxygen. To this point, I reiterate: No, you've taken enough from us already.
The sole reason people are getting shot up is because the left has conditioned two generations of us to believe that we should trust someone else to respond to our beck and call and keep us safe. We shouldn't be expected or in most cases even allowed to defend ourselves without the prospect of prosecution stemming from being violent ourselves. After all, two wrongs don't make a right; Right?
Ugh. I'm just tired of being told to sit down and shut up. "Not here." "Now's not the time." "Just stop, no one wants to talk politics!" Ugh. NO! You've taken enough from me already! I WILL speak my mind, and you shouldn't be so weak as to not be able to listen to the opinions of others. Grow up, and deal with the hard part of life: Hard decisions MUST be made, and opinions are everywhere. Man has fought many wars over these kinds of decisions, and thankfully here in America we fight in the realm of ideas and reason. Or at least we used to. Now, there's not enough real adults left to discuss things without feelings polluting the discussion to the point of hysteria...
