Don't know what those guys are talking about. Maybe if they posted some picture blow-ups so we could see them... otherwise just blowing smoke.
Well..... I guess if you mean the spring vs the extractor body, that's 2 pieces.... but that would not be welded, so why make such a claim even like that?
No he was clear it was the top claw section that was welded on his bolts that broke.
I tryed to explain to him that no extractor is meant to be a 2 peice welded part, that they are a machined 1 peice part and either carpenter 58 steel or in the case of most grendel extractors s7 tool steel.
I posted pics of some of mine. But I don't think it sunk in.
Most of the people on that place seem lost.
He didn't have pics of his broken extractors and wouldn't tell me who they were made by or where he got them from.
Heck there is a bunch of guys on their that have short throat BCA barrels and they will argue with you that they are safe to shoot even though when they extract a round by hand the bullet gets pulled from the case.
