Not exactly. The "latest suppressor thing" is rooted in the Virginia Beach shooting, Trump's remarks that he dislikes silencers and will "seriously look" into banning them, and the bill (HEAR Act) introduced by Senator Menendez.

Maybe I'm missing something.

But I didn't read where his words said. (I'm going to seriously look into banning them)

Kind of seems like a lot of folks are putting words together.

I don't have a dog in this fight, so it is what it is.

I don't own a can and have no intentions of ever owning one.

But I can't help but notice there is a lot of assuming and word playing going on around this subject.
