Almost everyone reading this forum understands what the NRA should be- just as we understand what our House of Representatives and Senate should.
We likewise understand that an executive director (or whatever his title is) who does some of what La pierre has done does NOT have the best interests of the organization as his primary, overriding focus.
We get angry when we find out that senators and representatives have become fat-cats. Personally, as a 30+ year NRA member (and my wife is over 20 years, and so are the kids) I don't much care about excuses. I simply think it's time for La Pierre and his associates (if he has any) to go.
