What would you consider the maximum effective range of a 16 inch barreled Grendel to be.
What are the tests to find out what it is?
M14 rifle --- 460 meters (FM 23-8)
M4 carbine - 500 meters (FM 3-22.9)
I don't know how max effective range is determined by the US Army, but I expect that max effective range of a 16" Grendel (with standard ball ammo) would not differ much from the above.
