Are shorter barrels more accurate?

I was not aware that play between upper and lower receivers affected accuracy. -assuming cheek weld is conststant. Would someone care to ilumanate me?

It doesn't. Kinda like the accuwedge thing. They do nothing to affect mechanical accuracy, and it's been tested multiple times by the military. Armalite used to have a technical paper on it somewhere. I can't find it now, but I wish that paper on the whole upper to lower fit thing was tacked on every AR15 related board in the known universe for perpetuity.LOL!
