Even AA has their Tactical uppers for $640-650.
As more and more people start building Grendels, we will see the competition drive the price down some, but remember, the strength of the Grendel is in longer range accuracy, and that requires that high quality barrels be used. Most Grendel buyers in the past have focused on its advantages over the 5.56 at distance, so higher quality barrels and builds were demanded, thus driving price as well.
