It looked like the first shot hit quite a bit to the left of the aim point. That definitely could have been the frame rate of the video. If it wasn't and you hit the 2nd an equal distance left, it would have possibly been through the neck and just missed any kind of arteries or bone. Either way, I think it's a great thing that you are testing cartridges such as this because they're very affordable and if there's another ammo shortage, it might be the only option that some would have to continue hunting. Obviously, any bullet out of a 22 would work for the head shot, and I wouldn't dismiss the FMJ just off the one bad experience because it is possible that it grazed the shoulder on entry and turned missing the vitals also. I always buy a bulk of each caliber in these cheap rounds but I've never shot anything with them other than the 7.62x39 steel jacket SP. They consistently expand better than the HP and appear to work as any other SP. Maybe one day Wolf or someone else will make a similar bullet for the Grendel. Thanks again for all your doing in testing the different ammo as well as helping to decrease the population of the hog problem back home. I'm finally getting to go home after being gone for 13 months and hopefully I'll get to take a few hogs while I'm there. I'm very jealous of your optics. I'll be available after this week if need some help out there, but I'm sure you get that all the time.
