Made a few changes on my Grendel, been gathering parts and components since Oct. Have to thank a couple members of the Horde, they gave me a couple of good deals on the handguard and barrel.
Old, 16" AA barrel, new, 18" Double Fluted Liberty/Saturn.
Old, Hogue Overmolded Handguard; new, AA MK-10 Composite Handguard.
Old, Leupod VX-III 2.5-8X36; new, Vortex HS 2.5-10X44.
Old, Warne Rings w/YHM risers; new, Larue LT158
Also, added a Black Weapons Armory Compensator. Still want to cerakote the handguard and magazine. I've got that OD Green thing going on.
Hoping to tighten my groups up with the longer barrel and better glass, we'll see. Of course there is a downside, I add 1/2 pound, just over 8lbs.
