PCP said they met all of the required specs in performance from the Army, throat life not being something that was called out.

So what is the life expectancy of a combat rifle? If the average combat rifle is lost, damaged beyond repair in service within 6 mos, then throat life is kind of moot....firing conditions not withstanding.

Maybe not a flux capacitor, but a cold explosion, low temp burn powder? Miniature compressed air capsule behind the projectile?
